About the Artist

My photo
I just love crafting, the messier the better. Have been crafting all my days but in the last 16 years have been doing more and more. My obsession began with making cards and from there I have tried many different forms of crafting. Great fan of Tim_Holtz love all his products would love to own them all one day. Graphic 45 is another must have for me and again would love to have it all. And then there is Prima well what can a girl say, just simply stunningly beautiful. Really enjoying the vintage, shabby chic and steampunk styles which are very much in vogue at the minute. Love Lace and Pearl trim, you might be seeing a fair bit of it all on here. xx Please keep calling past and enjoy my crafting journey with me. Great Big Huge Hugs Becca xxx

Rhedd and Rosies Anything Goes Challenge Blog - Challenge 16 - Something for the Men

Hello everyone.  The winner for our 15th Challenge over at Rhedd and Rosies Challenge Blog has been chosen by our teamie Tina. Congratulations to our winner and again fabulous entries.

The theme for this fortnight's challenge is Something for the Men chosen by me.  This is my DT creation

Exploding Clock

Hubby loves to try to fix things but bless him things don't always go to plan and things can end up resembling this clock hehe (sorry hunnie if you are reading this but I do love you xxx)

I constructed this using a block of wood (thank you Sandie xx) which I painted with black gesso, touched up all the edges using my favourite Inca Gold.  I used DCWV papers to decorate distressing all edges.  I have wires twisted into spirals and attached a mix of wood and metal cogs and gears to give the effect of the inside of the clock bursting out of the back doors which I created using heavy weight chipboard, painted black and again edged with Inca Gold.  I added feet which were also painted gold as well as the winged wooden embellishment clockface.

To see this project in more detail please visit my YouTube Channel below :-)

The prize for this fortnight is sponsored by Rosie and she is offering this lovely black and white 6x6 paper pad with matching buttons and ribbon bows.

So to be in with a chance to win come on over and join in at Rhedd and Rosies Anything Goes Challenge Blog.

Look forward to seeing your entries.

Thank you all once again for taking the time to stop past, I really appreciate all of your wonderful comments.

Great Big Huge Hugs
